Vegetables + Turtles = Tummy Aches.

It's official--I am now a coupon cutting, super saving stay at home mom (SAHM)! Bring on summer, Sias Style.

This Spring, we planted a small vegetable garden in our backyard. Without a job, I figured I would have time to take care of it. If anything grew, it may actually save money, too. After we planted the seeds, the kids asked me how they would grow into plants. I told them we would have to give the seeds lots of water. Now if I could only get them to eat the vegetables ...

We had at least one visitor who liked the garden. The kids named him Charlie. Draw your own conclusions ...

Lately TJ seems to think that his stomach is also called a "tummy ache". For example, if he were to eat one of the vegetables from the garden and you asked him where it went, he would say "into my tummy ache". Cracks me up everytime. (If you know TJ, or any of my kids for that matter, you know that this example is completely hypthetical since it requires him to eat a vegetable : ) )

PS -- (Reader beware, the below is a PROUD MOM MOMENT) -- today Billy put 18 golf balls into the cup holder of a folding chair. He decided he only wanted 16. When I asked him how many he would need to take out, he said 2. When I asked him how he knew that, he proudly answered "I'm just using my brain". I am smiling just writing this...
